What started as a little hobby between two kindergarten teachers—a mother-daughter duo, Lisa & Katie— has turned into something bigger than we ever imagined!

Sweet Tea Boutique was born in January 2020, when Katie decided to take a chance and start selling a few things online. The plan was simple: let’s see if anybody actually wants this stuff. 😂 Spoiler alert… y’all did!

A few months later, we decided to make things a little more official. Katie bought a tiny 8x16 building, plopped it in the backyard, and our very first “storefront” was born! 🛍️ For the next three years, you could find us selling from our little backyard boutique, online, and loading up to set up at local events—probably with way too much inventory and not nearly enough trunk space. 🤪

Then came the opportunity we had dreamed about: our very own storefront! 💗

Since those early days, Sweet Tea has grown, changed, and evolved more than we ever could have imagined. But one thing hasn’t changed—we LOVE finding fun, unique pieces that make you say, “Okay… I NEED that!” Whether it’s a fabulous outfit, something sparkly, the perfect accessory, or one of those totally unnecessary-but-absolutely-necessary finds, we want shopping with us to feel FUN.

And if you’ve ever caught one of our live sales, you already know things can get a little chaotic around here. 😂 Between Katie, Mama Lisa, lots of laughs, and the occasional “Wait… what were we doing?!”—we wouldn’t have it any other way.

At the end of the day, Sweet Tea isn’t just about selling cute things. It’s about the people we’ve met, the friendships we’ve made, the laughs we’ve shared, and the customers who have supported this crazy little dream since 2020.
